HD Lace Frontals
An HD lace frontal recreates your hairline from ear to ear on a sheer, high definition lace that melts into the skin instead of sitting on top of it. Ours are built on single donor raw Indian hair, so a raw Indian lace frontal from us parts, washes and heat styles like hair grown from your own scalp, and holds up for years with care.
- Ear to ear coverage, so you can part and style anywhere across the front
- Sheer HD lace that disappears against a wide range of skin tones
- Single donor raw Indian base, never acid stripped or silicone coated
- Straight, wavy, deep wave and curly textures from one natural donor

What is an HD lace frontal?
An HD lace frontal is a hairpiece that recreates your hairline and part from ear to ear on a sheet of high definition lace. HD lace is a thinner, finer grade than standard Swiss lace, so once it is cut and applied it reads as scalp rather than mesh. On our frontals that lace carries single donor raw Indian hair, which is why it can be parted, pulled back and styled without exposing an obvious base.
HD lace vs transparent vs standard lace
HD lace
The thinnest and finest grade. It melts closest to the skin and is the most forgiving to blend, but it is more delicate to handle.
Transparent lace
A light coloured, slightly heavier lace. It blends well on light to medium tones and is a little tougher than HD.
Standard lace
Thicker and most durable. It needs more tinting to disappear, which makes it the most beginner friendly to work with.
Frontal or closure, which do you need?
A frontal covers the hairline from ear to ear and lets you part or pull hair back anywhere across the front. A closure covers a smaller area, usually a single parting, so it installs faster but offers less styling range. Choose a frontal for versatile, off the face looks. If you only ever part in one spot, our HD lace closures may suit you better.
Frontal sizes, explained
- 13x4, 13 inches ear to ear and 4 inches deep. The everyday standard, with enough room for most middle and side parts.
- 13x6, the same width with 6 inches of depth, so you get more parting space and deeper off the face styling.
- 360, lace that wraps the full perimeter of the head for high ponytails and updos.
The exact size of each frontal is listed on its own product page above.
Why the raw Indian hair base matters
Many lace frontals on the market use hair that has been acid bathed and silicone coated to look uniform, which fades and tangles once that coating wears off. Ours starts as single donor raw Indian temple hair, kept in one cuticle direction with no chemical stripping. That is the reason it lasts, takes heat, and moves like your own hair, and it is the same raw hair that runs through every collection on this site.
How to apply an HD lace frontal
- Prep your natural hair, then braid it down or wrap it flat.
- Place the frontal, mark your hairline, and cut the lace along it, leaving a little to tuck.
- Secure it with your chosen method, whether glue, gel, or an elastic band for a no glue install.
- Lightly tint or conceal the lace to match your scalp if needed.
- Lay your baby hairs, set your part, and style using low heat.
Care that keeps it looking new
- Wash gently in cool water with a sulphate free shampoo, and condition from mid length to ends.
- Air dry where you can, and use low heat with a heat protectant when you style.
- Store it on a mannequin or in a satin bag, never while it is still damp.
- Handle the HD lace edge gently, as it is finer than standard lace.
