It is the same single donor temple hair as our bundles, just without the weft, so you have full creative control for wigs, braiding, fusion and custom units. What is bulk hair?
Bulk hair is loose human hair that has not been sewn onto a weft or track. It is the raw material for making wigs, adding fusion and keratin bond extensions, micro-link and I-tip applications, and braiding styles. Our bulk hair is 100 percent single donor raw Indian temple hair.
What is the difference between bulk hair and wefted bundles?
Bulk hair is loose, unbound strands for custom work like wig making, fusion and braiding. Wefted bundles have been sewn onto a track and are ready to install as a traditional sew in or to make clip ins. Both are the same single donor raw Indian hair, just in a different form.
How much bulk hair do I need?
It depends on the method. A full head of fusion or micro-link extensions usually needs 200 to 300 grams. A handmade wig unit varies with cap size and desired density. Braiding styles depend on length and fullness. Confirm the exact weight with your stylist for your specific style.
Can bulk hair be coloured or bleached?
Yes. Because it is fully unprocessed raw Indian hair, it lifts and takes colour evenly, including to the lightest blonde shades. Do a strand test first and work with a licensed colourist, exactly as you would with hair growing on a head.
Is this the same hair as your bundles and lace pieces?
What textures does bulk hair come in?
Our bulk hair comes in the same natural textures as our bundles, including straight, wavy and curly. The texture is the donor's own, never steamed in, so it returns after every wash and blends naturally into a custom piece.
